About Yerevan State Medical University

Yerevan State Medical University is enlisted with the World Health Organization (WHO) and is recognized by MCI (Medical Council of India), Act of 1956 (Gazette of India, Part II, Sec. 1, Extra, S. No. 83, dt. 31.12.1956), GMC (General Medical Council) of U.K

• It is a non-commercial leading Government medical University in Eastern Europe.
• Total duration of the Graduate Course is 6 years.
• Annual tuition fee is 5500 USD for the 1st year and thereafter 5000 USD annually for the corresponding years.
• The tuition fee remains unchanged for the whole duration of the course. Contract is signed at the time of the admission. Tuition fee is paid annually before commencement of each academic year.
• Annual first year hostel fee is 600 USD.
• Fee to be transferred to the University’s bank account through electronic bank remittance.
• Academic session commences from 01st September.
• Over 1000 Indian students are currently pursuing their graduate and post-graduate courses. Regular Indian batches since 1987.

MBBS / MD Requirement

1. Candidate should have attained 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
2. Should have secured minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in PCB (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) and passing each subject individually in Class XII (Higher Secondary or equivalent) Examinations as per to the MCI (Medical Council of India).
3. Candidate must qualify NEET attaining 50 percentile marks i.e. the score should be better than 50% of all appearing candidates.

Procedure:

Fill up the Registration Form available with the Representative free of cost.

• Confirm the examination date from the Representative and book your date/time slot.
• Submit all the required documents.
• Appear for an admission test conducted by the University officials.
• The test is based on MCQ’s in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. English fluency is expected.
• Admission letter is issued the same day after successfully passing the exam and interview.
• It is highly recommended for the candidate or his/ her guardians to meet the University Representative before the admission test for counselling to clear all the possible doubts and get references of the students already enrolled and studying in YSMU.
• The admission is granted on first come first admit basis and is subject to availability as the number of seats is limited.
